User Reviews & Feedback

User Reviews

User feedback about our Central Wales guidebook was extremely encouraging:

CLIMBING GUIDE TO CENTRAL WALES:  The new Central Wales guidebook contained all you need to know about this previously undocumented area between Machynlleth and Pembroke. The area has seen extensive development of bouldering , sea cliff climbing , bolted quarry routes and long pitches on remote mountain crags. It is incredibly well researched and documented with a great history and maps that even I can follow. Plenty of action pictures giving an idea of scale and rock quality and all very inspiring. The two main authors, Dave Williams and Doug Kerr, have explored a huge area of Central Wales along with a small band of devotees whose energy and enthusiasm spill over in each page . Highly recommended!

It looks great; congratulations to all involved.'

Richard, Leicestershire

'What a marvellous production, a real labour of love, especially as it was written from scratch....Great photos too. I have really enjoyed flicking through, finding details of bits I knew something about and nice surprises in the bits I didn’t. Congratulations on getting it completed and produced, it is a really professional looking and high quality bit of work.  I hope it sells well.'

Tim, Powys

'The guide is very nicely laid out in an unusual horizontal format that works very well and the area could easily be visited by anyone holidaying in Pembroke or Snowdonia.'

Needle Sports, Keswick

'What a cracking piece of work! Well laid out and sure to be a classic reference book for the area.'

Rob, Stourbridge

'It looks great. Horizontal format works well, and suits the photos of short pitch crags well. Great descriptions & maps too, which is handy for locating these previously unknown gems.'

Gary, Dublin

'Great guide and great area, loved the couple of crags we went to in the Elan valley, almost want to keep it a secret ....'

Steve, Worcester
